Return & Exchange Policy
• Please contact Cymbal Planet prior to returning or exchanging an item - send an email to info@cymbalplanet.com. Please DO NOT send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
• PLEASE DO NOT SHIP BACK ITEMS WITHOUT CONTACTING US. For domestic returns and exchanges, we will email you a shipping label for you to print and stick on the old label on the original packaging.
• Cymbal returns / exchanges in the continental U.S. are FREE only for ONE TIME after each cymbal purchase. You will be responsible for the shipping costs of exchanges / returns more than one time. Customers will be responsible for cymbal return / exchange costs if the purchase was made using a discount of more than 19.99%. Customers are responsible for cymbal return / exchange costs in all other countries and locations than the U.S. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs for items other than cymbals, such as clothing, accessories etc.
• Returns or exchanges for international orders are NOT free, the buyer/customer is responsible for all shipping costs. For international returns / exchanges, you must use a trackable shipping service AND purchase shipping insurance to cover the full cost of the item(s) in the box. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item safely.
• Items are to be returned in original sale condition with the original sale receipt, paperwork, and free gifts (if applicable). Please return the items in their original box and packaging with all accessories and product documentation if applicable (certification, warranty card, user guide, bags, etc.).
• Clearance items, drumsticks, accessories, clothing, and earplugs are NOT eligible for returns or exchanges.
• All items (except custom and/or special orders) are to be returned within 14 days of the received date. If 14 days have gone by since you received your item, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
• Items need to show absolutely no signs of use, abuse, stick marks, or fingerprints to be eligible for a refund.
• Returns might be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% or refusal/denial if we are unable to re-sell the returned item(s) as “new”.
• Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a couple of days. Refunds will be credited to your account within 3-5 business days (which might differ depending on your bank). Refunds will be credited to the original payment source.
• If you haven’t received a refund yet after 1-2 weeks, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@cymbalplanet.com
• Refunds are only available for the item’s sale price on the day and time of the sale.
• Cymbal Planet holds the right to make changes to this policy according to the nature of the situation.
• Our return policy is in place to ensure our customers won’t ever get stuck with a wrong piece of gear. Those who violate the spirits of our return/exchange policy by having excessive returns may be subject to limitations or suspension of return/exchange privileges.
